Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of complete original albums by The Four Freshmen, which was one of the finest jazz vocal groups from the 1950s. These outstanding LPs, Four Freshmen and 5 Trombones and Four Freshmen and 5 Saxes, both include arrangements by Pete Rugolo, and feature outstanding instrumentalists such as Frank Rosolino, Bob Cooper, Georgie Auld, Ted Nash, Dave Pell, Barney Kessel and Shelly Manne, among others. Two complete sessions from the same period that were previously issued on compilation LPs have been added here as a bonus. Black Coffee Records.
