Our journey began on May 7th, 2016, during Carrollton’s annual Mayfest, and since then, we’ve been dedicated to providing only the best to our community. The name came down to two contenders—Desolation Row (a nod to Bob Dylan) and The Vinyl Frontier—and while we adore Dylan, the call of the frontier won out.
We have over 30,000 records—both new releases and vintage treasures—with more arriving daily, ensuring our selection is always fresh and exciting. But that’s just the beginning. We also offer CDs, cassettes, turntables, 8-tracks, books, shirts, magazines, board games, and more. No matter what format you prefer, we’ve got something for every collector. Whether you’re hunting down a classic pressing, or just looking for a space to talk about music, The Vinyl Frontier has something for you. Our knowledgeable and passionate staff are always happy to chat about albums, artists, and hidden gems you might have never heard of but won’t be able to live without.
